Safiya is a GP and University lecturer in Luton. She has a background in healthcare management and is completing a Masters in Medical Education.
Serving the widows and orphans through A World Without Barriers has been the most satisfying experience of my medical career to date. Using my skills to make a real difference to the people in the world who need it most is the reason I chose to become a doctor. Finally my dream is becoming a reality and I just can’t get enough. Every child I treated in Iraq left me craving more.
