OPTOMETRIST
Working with A World Without Barriers team in Iraq was one of the most satisfying and life changing experiences I’ve ever had. We were able to perform retinoscopy and ophthalmoscopy on everyone, and simple things such as giving out ready readers and dry eye drops made a world of difference to the patients we were seeing. I will never forget their smiles when they wore the glasses and were suddenly able to read after years of struggling.I honestly felt as though all the years of hard work and studying to become an Optometrist came down to this. These 10 days of my life where my sole purpose was to serve.
