Hasan is an incredibly poor orphan from the North of Morocco with a crippling disability. He had no bed to sleep on, no wheelchair, no milk and no food. He lay on the floor all day. Occasionally, his mum is able to work in the fields to bring him little food and on other days they go without food. His mother had made a heart-breaking plea to everyone to help her son survive as she could no longer bear seeing her son lying there suffering like that. We asked her what her needs were and she immediately said a wheelchair to take her son outside so he can see the world and some milk and nappies as he is unable to go to the bathroom as she is too old and frail to carry him.
With help from our donors, we were able to raise over £2200 for Hasan and we are now helping Hasan with all of his needs.
We now plan to extend our work in Morocco. Help us to continue to help Hasan and others like Hasan in Morocco.
